London Taiseer-un-Nikah Committee are proud to host the London Taaruf 2010.
With the Raza and Dua Mubarak of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb (TUS), and under the umbrella of the International Taiseer-un-Nikah Committee, our purpose is to help Dawoodi Bohra shaadi laaiq farzando to find a "life partner".
Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming taaruf:
1. When and where is the taaruf being held?
The london 2010 taaruf will be held from 3rd to 6th June at:
Al Masjid Al-Husaini Mohammedi Park Masjid Complex 5 Rowdell Road Northolt, Middlesex UB5 6AG
There will also be tafrir locations outside the masjid during the four day event.
2. Do I need to pay before I arrive?
Yes. The fee for the four day event is £99.00. Further information on how to pay will be sent to you once you have been selected to attend the taaruf.
3. When will I be notified that I have been selected to attend?
Confirmation of selection will be sent out as soon as possible after registration but at the latest two weeks after registration closes.
4. Wil l accommodation be provided?
Yes. Accommodation will be provided for participants from outside of London over the duration of the event . Those participants who decide to arrange private accommodation are kindly requested to notify us of their arrangements.
5. Is pre-registration required?
Yes. Pre-registration is ESSENTIAL so that we are aware of your interest, and so that we can evaluate your eligibility for an invitation. Invitations to the taaruf will only be sent to those people who pre-register.
6. Is there an age limit?
Yes, the lower age limit is 18 years old for female participants and 21 years old for male participants. There is no upper age limit.
7. Do I need to apply for my own visa?
If a visa is required to enter the United Kingdom then the visa application is the responsibility of each individual participant. Please ensure that you have a visa and an invitation to attend the taaruf before you purchase your flight ticket.
8. What if I do not have an e-Jamaat ID number?
Please contact us with via email, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , with your particular query for ejamaat, giving us as much detail about yourself as possible. We will then endeavour to help you out in every way possible.
9. If I have already paid but then cannot attend, will my fee be refunded?
That will depend on the reason for not attending. If you cancel well in advance then we will refund you the whole amount. However, any participant who decides not show up for the event without cancellation will NOT be eligible for a refund.
10. How will I know that I have not been invited?
An email will be sent to all registrants informing them if they have been invited or not in the first week of May.
11. What is the dress code for the taaruf?
Casual khurti, pants and topi for men, and rida for women. |
